Because the night Voldemort killed Harry's parents he accidentally put a part of his soul in Harry and if Harry didn't die Voldemort would still be rooted to earth because part of his soul still lived in Harry.
Yes. Dumbledore won and became in possession of the Elder Wand, as it was owned by Grindelwald at the time. But I think it was because Grindelwald said it was good Ariana died and he said Aberforth killed her. and so they duelled........
Voldemort kills Grindelwald because he is trying to find the Elder Wand, and Grindelwald refuses to help him or give him any information.
He was a dark wizard, educated at Durmstrang, who developed a friendship with Albus Dumbledore when they were young, when Gellert was expelled from Durmstrang and staying with his great aunt, Bathilda Bagshot. Dumbledore and Grindlewald soon become friends but after Dumbledore sister's death they never spoke again, until Dumbledore was forced to battle Grindlewald which resulted in Grindlewald being placed in prison and Dumbledore becoming the owner of the Elder Wand.
Albus Dumbledore dueled Gellert Grindelwald to gain possession of the Elder Wand. He won that duel, Grindelwald was imprisoned, and Dumbledore kept the wand until his death.
yes, she was a squib and she had some disease or something that cause her to release a burst of magic when she became too stressed. Albus Dumbledore, Aberforth Dumbledore and Gellert Grindlewald were all dueling and Ariana became stressed and released magic which she died from.
After Percival Dumbledore was imprisoned for this attack on the muggle boys, the Dumbledore family (consisting of Kendra, Albus, Aberforth and Ariana) moved to Godric's Hollow - right beside Bathilda Bagshot. After the death of his mother Albus was forced to look after his brother and sister. That was when Bagshot's nephew, Gellert Grindlewald, came to visit and became fast friends with Dumbledore.
Harry recognized Grindelwald from the picture in Rita Skeeter's book the Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore, but before this, when he didn't identify Grindelwald, he saw the mystery man in his dream and in a frame in Bathilda Bagshot's house in Godric's Hollow.
Gellert Grindlewald, but mostly because he loved him and knew he would be rejected. Grindlewald also made him feel guilty about his sister's death.

No. He won the wand from Grindlewald, who was still alive during Deathly Hallows.
Albus Dumbledore didn't marry anybody. He only ever loved one person in his life, Gellert Grindlewald. Together, Dumbledore and Grindlewald had plans to take over the wizarding world and control the muggles so that wizards could reveal themselves. However, Grindlewald was a lot more extreme with these plans than Dumbledore. One day, a fight between Albus, Gellert and Aberforth Dumbledore broke out which resulted in the death of Ariana Dumbledore. Either of the three men could have killed the girl. After this, Dumbledore didn't trust himself to take a position of power and never found love with anybody else. Besides, under British law gay people couldn't get married at the time the series was set.

Dumbledore's greatest fear was finding out who actually cast the spell that killed his sister Ariana. It was either Dumbledore himself, his brother Aberforth, or Grindlewald. I believe it was Grinldelwald because he fled the country after her death and Dumbledore never saw him again until their legendary duel in 1945. Dumbledore's reason for delaying his meeting with Grindelwald was because he was afraid he would find out the truth.

Dumbledore but I do have respect for brom
He plays the part of Gellert Grindlewald- Dumbledore's childhood friend and companion when seeking the Deathly Hallows, Bathilda Bagshots nephew and also the thief that stole the elder wand from the wand-maker Gregorovitch. :)
Albus Dumbledore had the Elder wand after he beat Gellert Grindlewald. Voldemort then stole the wand despite not being its true master. The Resurrection Stone is hidden inside the first golden snitch that Harry Potter ever caught which was given back to Harry by Dumbledore in his will. The last hallow is the invisibility cloak which has been handed down to Harry by his father.
