Why did jeffrey dahmer do the things he did?

Jeffrey Dahmer's parents divorced when he was very young. He saw them fight a lot and picked up on some of the violence.

His parents knew something was wrong with him when he displayed violent behavior towards his aunt. One time she was sleeping and woke up to Jeffrey at the bottom of her bed. He had arranged knives all around her.

He wasn't shown love as a child and was addicted to pornography. Later in life, he wanted to fill those urgues and did so to his victims. By him injecting chemicals into their brain, he thought that they wouldn't die and would stay with him forever. Maybe if he had a different childhood, he would've been led to such violent crimes.

25 year old Scarver had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and the only thing he said to the guard was that God told him to do it. They were on detail cleaning the gym room and he beat Dahmer and another inmate with a steel bar from a weight machine.
