Harry never really loved Cho, in fact he hardly knew her. His feelings were based on her looks and when he got to know her better he discovered that she wasn't the girl for him.
It was just to hard for them to continue their relationship with Cedric's death so recent. Cho had previously liked Cedric and she was very fragile about the subject.

∙ 13y agoHe broke up with her because she tried to defend her friend who had sold out all of Dumbledore's Army (thus leading to Dumbledore being forced to go on the run) and then got angry with him because he was annoyed at her friend. She was also always crying about Cedric and hadn't moved on.
In the movies they aren't shown as dating and Harry simply refuses to talk to her after Cho (not her friend as in the books) sells out the DA.

Because Cho wanted to talk about Cedric's death, but Harry didn't want to remember it because it had been too painful, and Cho ended up running out of the coffee shop (I think?) in Hogsmeade.
