The multiform technique is awesome, but it has a pretty big weakness: each copy of the user only has a fraction of the user's original power. If Piccolo had divided himself into three, for example, each of those three would have only been one-third as strong as he was originally. The multiform might have thrown Raditz off for a bit, but then it would've been more Piccolos getting beat up that much harder.
