Celebrities will wear sunglasses indooors for several reasons:
1) To help them see while all the lights are focused on them, i.e. spotlights, flash photography, etc. Those lights can be blinding at times.
2) As a fashion statement
3) To promote a special line of sunglasses which they are being paid to wear
3) To stand out so people will notice
4) To hide the red eyes they have from partying last night
5) To hide a black eye they got in a fist fight
6) As part of a disguise so maybe people won't notice them, if their eyes are their most recognizable feature.
