Why does Nagishko have two gardian characters?

Amu does have 4, but at the beginning I think it was Tadase says that children often have one or sometimes 2.

In the episode where Nagihiko is first met, It's hard to understand but Nagishiko and Nadishiko are infact the same person. Nagi was just acting and dressing as a girl so he could learn to dance the best he ever could. But after going out of Japan to improve even more, when he goes back to his friends he appears as his true fourm, as a boy.

His two guardian characters are both his, but diffrent sides. The first one, the pink one, Timari (Or something like that) Was hatched while he was being Nadishiko, but his blue one was born when he wanted to be a boy, out hatched his boy character named Rhythm. So each character represents Nagi as a girl and a boy.
