∙ 12y agoPercy's stepfather was not a nice guy. He always gave Percy's mom a really hard time. They had an argument once over blue food, and if there was such a thing. Smelly Gabe, the stepfather, told her there absolutely was not. From then on Percy and his mother would eat blue food and drink blue drinks as a way to be secretly defiant.
