Depends what cheats you have on. If you have too many on (like me :P) then it will freeze when you try to resume the game. Only solution is to either buy another Action Replay or just to restart your game with no Action Replay inside. This happened to me, and I was at the Pokemon League, so I was really p!ssed off when I had to do it.
