Yes. I used to work for Goody's before they closed and I have been keeping up with news regarding Goody's and the rumors of re-opening. Goody's has already re-opened some locations. Goody's was purchased by Stage Stores ( Peebles is a sister store to this co.) Sadly, they have completely changed Goody's and from what I understand it is more like a Peebles, Bealls, or Palais Royale than the Goody's we knew. They also purchased Goody's house brands with the exception of Duckhead (sold to a VA co.) and Ashley Judd. There are 3 locations in TN (Dayton, Kimball, and Rodgersville) as well as others throughout the south east. You can go to www.goodysonline.com to find other store locations and learn more about the new Goody's. I have hear they plan on opening 50 Goody's by February and I am sure they will expand more in the years to come.
