Why does spider man chose to become a superhero?

Spiderman was just created to entertain people at first as a series kinda thing.

But later when spiderman got famous among kids then they thought of creating more of them and now you can obviously see the position those films are in. THEY ARE PERFECT. So the answer just might be just to entertain

His uncle ben gets murdered for not giving his car up to a criminal which peter parker (Spiderman) blames himself for because ben was there to pick him up. Uncle ben also had a saying he told peter before he died which was 'with great power comes great reprehensibility'
