Brad Pitt is banned from entering China because he starred in Seven Years in Tibet which more or less promoted Tibetan independence from China and compared Chinese people to the Nazi regime. Director Jean-Jacques Annaud and actor David Thewlis were also banned from entering China because of their involvement in the film.
