Caroline Tensen's birth name is Caroline Egbertine Tensen.
Caroline Fentress's birth name is Caroline Morton Fentress.
Ms. Caroline Fisher doesn't understand the social structure of Maycomb: the Cunninghams and Ewells.
Burris is disrespectful and defiant towards Ms. Caroline in "To Kill a Mockingbird." He challenges her authority as a teacher and refuses to follow her instructions, making her feel overwhelmed and frustrated. Despite Ms. Caroline's attempts to help him, Burris displays a lack of respect and cooperation in the classroom.
Ms. Caroline Fisher is a strict teacher. She wants to do things her way. She does not let scout read and write without permission from the teacher.
Her teacher, Ms. Caroline scolds her for being more educated than the rest of the class since she can read. Later, Ms. Caroline offers Walter Cunningham (A very poor boy) some money to get himself some lunch since he forgot his. Scout tells her that he will never be able to pay her back since hes poor and Ms. Caroline scolds Scout and smacks her on the hand for doing so.
Miss Caroline (their teacher) didn't know anything about this town or the Cunningtons, so Scout was just informing Miss Caroline the way Walter and the Cunningtons live.
Miss. Caroline whipps Scout with a ruler on the hand, which is basicly tapping scouts hand with a ruler only harder.
Miss Caroline offered to give Walter Cunninghm twenty-five cents because she thought he might not have any lunch money. She did not understand that Walter would not accept charity, as his family was proud and did not take handouts.
Scout attacked Walter because he accidentally made her late for school, causing her to get in trouble with her teacher, Miss Caroline. Scout was frustrated with the situation and took out her anger on Walter by fighting him.
Scout was left the unpleasant task by the rest of her classmates to explain to the teacher that Walter Cunningham could not borrow any money for lunch because his family simply couldn't afford to repay that money. This explanation got Scout into trouble with the teacher as it was seen as rude. Ergo, Scout was angry and annoyed with Walter Cunningham. Because he made her look bad on the first day of school, after she defended/explained his reason for rejecting the teacher's 25 cents. Scout rubs Walter Cunninghams's nose in the dirt because he made her, "start off on the wrong foot." Ms. Caroline (Scout and Walter's first grade teacher, new to Maycomb) asked Walter why he had no lunch with him and was not riding the bus into town to get his own. He lied (if you recall, the Cunninghams were a poor farmworking family) and said he had left his money at home. Ms. Caroline, not knowing any better, offered him three quarters to go into town and buy a lunch. When Walter refused (fearing entailment) Scout piped up and explained how the Cunninghams were a poor family and never take anything from anybody that they can't pay back. Ms. Caroline thought this to be awfully offensive, slapped Scout on the palm and sent her to the corner until lunch time. Directly before leaving for lunch, was when Scout caught Walter outside and began to beat him up.
The Cunningham's don't have any money to pay back, so Walter won't take the quarter from Miss Caroline. Scout has to explain this to Miss Caroline
Mrs. Blount is angry with Miss Caroline because she feels that Miss Caroline has made Jem and Scout feel ashamed and inadequate by telling Scout to stop reading at home. Mrs. Blount believes that Miss Caroline's actions have embarrassed and undermined the children's confidence.
