Why isn't latias on my pokedex?

well first you you have to beat the elite four then you will will show up at your house

you go watch the tv and it will say a rare Pokemon is on the loose

go talk to your mom and she will ask is the rare Pokemon is red [Latias] or blue [Latios]

You can catch latias but only on certan Pokemon games, here is a list of the games you can find it on: (you may have to look hard for it on each game)

Pokemon Ruby

Pokemon Sapphire

Pokemon Emerald

Pokemon FireRed

Pokemon LeafGreen

Pokemon Diamond

Pokemon Pearl

Pokemon Platinum

If you are having a hard time catching one, try using a better poke ball, such an ultra-ball. Try weakening it to very low hitpoints and then inflicting a status alement, such as sleep or paralizing it. If it runs (you may wish to save the game before encountering it) you may want to try puting it to sleep on the ffirst turn, or using a fast ball which is super effective against Pokemon that run. If you really want it bad, you can use a master ball. Master balls give you a 100% chance of catching a Pokemon no matter what, unless its not your Pokemon. (however, there is only 1 master ball in the game)

Pokemon Sapphire/Ruby:

To catch Latias ....

You will need:

-40-50 Ultra Balls

-Golbat/Crobat that knows how to use MEAN LOOK (you can catch them in sky pillar on route 131) Golbat in sky pillar already knows MEAN LOOK so theres no need to train them ^_^ (note: give Golbat/Crobat a QUICK CLAW to hold and raise it's speed by giving it Carbos: because your golbat will use mean look before latias escaps by raising it's speed)

-lvl 35+ Wobbuffet that has SHADOW TAG (prevents Latias from escaping) FOR peoples who are lazy, you can leave Wobbuffet in day care until it's level 35, it level pretty fast in day care (Wobbuffet can be found in Safari Zone)

- 20 hyper potion

Step 1: Reset ur Party

-Put Golbat 1st then Wobbuffet second in ur party

Step 2: Find Latias

-Latias is very hard to find, I found my latias by going in and out of Safari Zone and check my pokedex every time i came out. If ur using the Safari trick, i suggest you wait until Latias is at Route 121 then try to find it

Step 3: Use golbat and weaken Latias

-Use mean look (Latias will be able to fled before you make the 1st move if ur golbat doesn't have quick claw or high speed)

-Weaken Latias until it's health Bar is at a very low status (i taught my Golbat Thief, is super effective against Latias and it will not K.O her)

*Many lazy people just want to use one Pokemon without training it much : Golbat is very weak against psychic type (which is Latias) you will waste all of ur turns by giving Golbat potions every 1~2 turn : Wobbuffet Can NOT attack, even though it has Mirror Coat, it will mostly fail. So i SUGGEST you SAVE ur TURNS for throwing ALOT of Ultra Balls

Step 4: Throw Ultra balls like crazy (DONT TRY TO DO ANYMORE FUNNY THINGS)

-Switch to Wobbuffet after Latias on low HP

-Throw Ultra Ball until you catch it (Dont Worry you will eventually catch it)

* DONT forget to give ur Wobbuffet potions( suggest Hyper Potions) to keep it alive

even though Latias attacks are not very effective towards Wobbuffet but BEWARE of critical hits!
