Bryan Adams had a number of well-known songs in the 1980's, beginning with "Cuts Like a Knife" (from the album of the same name) and "Straight from the Heart" in 1983. In 1984, he released the album Reckless which yielded the hits "Summer of '69", "Run to You", "Somebody", and "Heaven", his first #1 single on The Billboard Hot 100 list. Reckless peaked at #1 on The Billboard 200 and sold over 1 million copies worldwide. Other notable songs that Adams sang are "Heat of the Night" (1987), "(Everything I Do) I Do it for You" (1991, reached #1), "Please Forgive Me" (1993), and "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman" (1995, reached #1). Adams also helped write/compose every song from the 2002 DreamWorks Animation movie Spirit - Stallion of the Cimarron.
