Katniss is one of the few tributes who were able to pair up with their district's partner. She was also the first female victor from District 12, and won her games along with another tribute. She was involved in the first romantic relationship Panem had ever seen on the Hunger Games. Katniss is known as 'The Girl on Fire' because of what she wore on the chariot-ride and her interview.
