Why was George Lopez cancelled?

George Lopez went off of air because they don't make anymore. This is most likely because the children that played Carmen and Max got too old to play the part of the children. Although, they do play reruns of the show on Nick@Nite. ABC does not have the show on the channel anymore, though.

AnswerABC decided financially that they could not keep making episodes so they cancelled it. AnswerIt wasn't canceled it just wasn't popular anymore. Not every show can last 16 years. Some of the best shows end in 3 years. People just sometimes don't give a show a chance.

yes it is cancelled.They are still showing it but not making new episodes.The company stopped george Lopez because he was becoming to famous and he cant do that since he is a Mexican.
