if you have a Pokemon on silver that isn't on red it than can't trade. Or if there is a new move/TM that your Pokemon knows it won't work oh and you have to use the time machine to trade(the big thing at the far end of the Pokemon center, upstairs).
You cannot. Shiny Gold is a modified version of Pokemon Gold made by a fan. They have placed them characters there as a placeholder until they update the game. To remove them you will need to check if a new version of the ROM has been released yet.

You have to have iTunes. That is why it is saying that you need to connect to iTunes. You have to download the latest version of iTunes from Apple's website, and open it up when you have the iPod connected to the computer.

It's almost as rare as finding a Shiny Pokemon in the wild. You need to almost beat every Pokemon encounter you see, but you don't need to do that. I'm just saying that's how rare it is.
No you can not trade from GBA games to Pokemon Diamond/Pearl but instead you can migrate. If you mean the original Pokemon Red (as in the second version to ever be released) then no.If you mean Pokemon FireRed, the last answerer was accurate in saying you can't trade, but migrate.

Kabutops, (If that's what you're saying) doesn't evolve. However, Kabuto evolves into Kabutops at Lv. 40.
It was for catching celebi in the Japanese version, but the GS ball wasn't programmed into the English version for some reason. Oh, and the rumors saying you still can use the shrine are false. The only true way to get celebi is by a gameshark.
you have to get a gloom on Pokemon fire red version and get the sun stone on emerald ruby or sapphire and trade gloom to the game you got the sunstone on and use it on gloom. you will be able to tell if it will work because it will show glooms health instead of saying not able
get a new one:)
After you beat the 8th and final gym leader in blackthorn city professor Elm will call you saying to stop by his lab. professor elm will then give you a master ball.
