I Dont know but here may be a few reasons first, Pokemon black is a new game so you probably need to update your action replay to get newer games, Second if you press to hard you could have scratched the chip, Last it may simply be dusty trying blowing into your ds w/o spitting and the action replay. May god be on your side and help your action replay get into good condition.
Ps to figure if it is really broken I am assuming you have more ds games try putting another into the ar and then into the ds to see if it works, if it does simply go to the real ar website codejunkie or something like that search Pokemon black and there you will get the code allowing your action replay to work and cool additional coded like walk anywhere.
