Katniss gave the wire to Beetee who used it to create a rig that would in theory, destroy the force field in the arena of the 75th Hunger Games, a Quarter Quell. They succeeded and Katniss, Beetee, and Finnick were saved and taken to District 13.
There's no resolution to the whole plot, but escaping the arena was a big resolution to being in the 75th annual Hunger Games. That made both Katniss and Peeta get out, and one of my favorite characters, Beetee ;)
I do believe they were never said and her mom was always known as Mrs. Everdeen or just simply "Mom" when Katniss narrated but I wish they would've said it sometime because it would be cool to know...
Adjectives that would never describe Katniss Everdeen include complacent, passive, and indifferent. Katniss is known for her fierce determination, resilience, and proactive nature, always taking action to protect those she loves and fight against oppression. Her character embodies courage and defiance, making traits like apathy or lack of ambition completely at odds with her personality.
Normally, that would never happen. But since President Snow of the Capital has it out for Katniss ever since she inadvertently stood up to the Capital, he's willing to do anything to squash the hope she gave her district by winning the Hunger Games

Finnick at first seemed extremely flirtatious and seductive, but he too, hated the Capital.
Katniss didn't want Peete to fall asleep, cause she was afraid that if he would fall asleep he would never wake up.
Katniss's father once said that to her. Which basically means this:Katniss is also a type of edible flower. Katniss Everdeen was named after the edible root. When her father said this, he meant that as long as she can find her flower (which is katniss) she won't go hungry as the flower katniss is edible.Katniss Everdeen - District 12 residentkatniss - Edible flowerShe is named after a root which you can eat called katniss root. So he meant that if she could find katniss root she would never starve.

She might not have "confessed" her love for Peeta in the cave. She was acting at first, but came to realize that she really did love him. So if there were no cameras, she would've never found out that she loved Peeta. And Gale would still be in love with Katniss. :D

It's most likely that Katniss named her baby girl; Rue. Because she talks about her through the entire series. And most likely the boy Gale. In my opinion, I don't think they would name the boy Gale, since of what happened with Prim and all that sad stuff. It just doesn't sound like somehting Katniss would wants, especially since she seems so upset about the whole thing. But it's possible. I've heard that the Little girl will be named Rue and the boy Haymitch
Well, for starters, it is a depressing life. You'd have to live to watch ones you love die, Like Rue, Prim, Boggs, Effie, Finnick, Anne, Wiress, And to have all those awful moments of pain, like the Blood Rain, her rib surgery, the Burns. Life would be very, very depressing.

There is no cruelest part. Many parts of the book are cruel and inhumane, but I would say the part where the small 12 year old girl, named Rue, is speared through the stomach by an older teen. Katniss cannot do anything about it, and all Rue asks for is a song. Another scary part would be the bombing of District 12 in the second book, which killed many that just wanted a fairer government
