∙ 8y agoThe Ring can make you invisible, but it certainly cannot save you from danger, especially from wild wargs with an exceptionally good sense of smell.

∙ 10y agoBecause he did not want the dwarves to know he had it. The ring makes him greedy, and even Gandalf couldnt get it out of him until after his adventure.
