Well, seeing as how in the next series, the Heroes of Olympus, Percy and Annabeth were very much going out before Percy went missing, I would say no. Athena does not have power in the aspect of love. That's Aphrodite's job, and she loves Percabeth!

∙ 13y agoYes. In The Last Olympian they kiss twice. Once in the arena and then Clarrise pushes them into the canoe lake where Percy forms a bubble around them so Annabeth can breathe. Then they kiss again and Annabeth comes out soaking wet. Then in The Lost Hero Annabeth refers to Percy as her boyfriend. And yes Rachel is okay with it.

∙ 14y agoIn The Last Olympian she does warn him to stay away from her daughter, but her and Posiedon must have approved of them being together, because during there underwater kiss nobody got blasted to peices.

In the Last Olympian, Percy swims in the river Styx and gains great power. Annabeth blocks a knife from hitting him in the only spot that could kill him. The knife was poisoned, so Annabeth gets sick. When everybody goes back to the hotel, The healers from the Apollo cabin cure her. While Annabeth is still weak, Percy gets very worried for her and holds her hand. When the battle with Kronos is over, all the demigods return to Camp Half-Blood. After dinner, Annabeth and Percy kiss. Clarisse and the rest of the camp are eavesdropping and see them kissing. They carry them on their shoulders to the lake. Well Percy, being the son of Poseidon, makes and underwater bubble and they share an underwater kiss. The end.
