Aiding the Enemy!
Most likely an enemy used a pokemon switching move. That or your game is glitching. Does it switch it with another pokemon? Does the enemy use a move like whirlwind or gust? If you answer these questions on my message board I can help more.

It faints the Pokemon using it but sharply lowers the enemy's attack and Sp. attack. I would recommend it on a Pokemon unless battling high level Pokemon.

All you have is do a barrel roll to avoid the enemy attack.
A petrify seed is a seed like a stun seed. It makes an enemy unable to move, but it can attack. A stun seed makes enemies unable to attack, but they can move.

Tech Points are a special type of experience points in Kingdom Hearts. Tech Points are earned when the player exploits an enemy's weakness, parries an enemy attack with an attack of their own, or uses an enemy's attack against themselves (usually deflecting some sort of projectile attack).
Attack determines how much damage you will inflict on an enemy, attack percentage determines how often you will actually hit the enemy because don't forgot your enemies can evade your attacks.
Generally speaking a flank attack against an enemy entails keeping a force directly in front of the enemy army and at the same time mounting an attack on the "side" of the enemy's army which is likely to offer less resistance. If this tactic is successful, the enemy's line is broken and is forced into an unfavorable position. A flank attack can however be even more devastating if the flank attack as already explained, is able to actually move around the flank of the enemy and attack the rear of the enemy army. This endangers the enemy's communication and supply lines placing the enemy in a position where it can be scattered and attacked in detail and thus a decisive victory is achieved. In certain wars, such as the US Civil War, decisive victories in comparison with the hundreds of large and small battles was very rare.
