There is a high chance to it seeing that they remake a game 10 years after it's original release date. If there was a third game to a series, it would be released from that date.
examples:
Red & Green:1995
FireRed&LeafGreen:2005
Gold & Silver:1998-1999
Crystal:2000
HeartGold&SoulSilver:2010....
Ruby&Sapphire:2003
Emerald:2005
(something)Ruby&(something)Sapphire:2015
Hope that helps.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually here are the release dates:
Red, Blue, & Green: 1996
Yellow: 1998
Gold & Silver: 2000
Crystal: 2001
Ruby & Sapphire: 2003
FireRed & LeafGreen: 2004
Emerald: 2005
Diamond & Pearl: 2007
Platinum: 2009
HeartGold & SoulSilver: 2010
Black & White: 2011
A remake comes out a decade after the original duo is released.
A new generation comes out about 4 years after the previous one.
The third game in the series comes out about 2 years after the duo.
I predict that if Nintendo releases a third game to complete the Black & White series, it will be released in either 2012 or 2014. Ruby & Sapphire remakes must come out in 2013 because they made remakes of the first two generations, the third generation is next. If there is going to be a sixth generation (I really hope not), it will come out in 2015.

Generation lll: Red and Blue remake
Generation lV: Gold and Silver remake
Generation V: Ruby and Sapphire remake
Yeah, Nintendo will definitely remake Ruby and Sapphire. Well, I hope they will.
Nintendo will not be remaking Pokemon Red, Blue or Yellow for the Nintendo DS. If they are remaking these games, it would be on the new model, the Nintendo 3DS, though the chances are extremely slim as Pokemon FireRed is the remake of Red
Unlikely, since they would have already made yellow after leaf green and fire red, which were remakes themselves.
As of right now there hasn't been any official announcements for the remaking of the Sinnoh games.
You trade Magmar from Pokemon pearl, diamond,or platinum to ether Pokemon pearl, diamond,or platinum.
no, dialga is in pokemon diamond. PALKIA is the one in pokemon pearl
Sorry, but Pokemon Diamond and Pearl don'tconnect with Pokemon DX, but you can trade Pokemonfrom Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver onto Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, and you can Migrate Pokemon from Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.
Yes, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl's region name is Sinnoh Region.
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are only available on the Nintendo DS.
no theres no remake anyways...theres no tobe by the way
trade diamond from Pokemon diamond onto Pokemon pearl
OK I'm going to improve the answer to this question because the guy before me wants to be an a#$ about it. I don't think you can catch Pokemon from Johto in Pokemon Diamond or Pearl, but I do know they are coming out with a remake of Pokemon Silver, Gold, and Crystal. It is for the DS so you will have to trade between someone with a Silver, Gold, or Crystal version to your Diamond and Pearl game.
You trade Magmar from Pokemon pearl, diamond,or platinum to ether Pokemon pearl, diamond,or platinum.
THE POKEMON THAT ARE NOT FOUND IN DIAMOND AND PEARL ARE:MANAPHY PHIONE
diamond
You can get Palkia in Pearl, otherwise you have to transfer Palkia from Pokemon Pearl to Pokemon Diamond.
No, you can't catch Deoxys on Pokemon Diamond & Pearl unless you have cheats. You can transfer it from your GBA to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl though
some of the Pokemon are different such as diamond has dialga and pearl has palkia some of the Pokemon are different such as diamond has dialga and pearl has palkia
porbably not, but i heard a rumor about a game after black and white which is named gray. but that may not be true.
Pokemon platinum will be next, it's an advanced diamond and pearl (like emerald was to ruby/sapphire) also there may be a gold and silver remake for the ds but this is not confirmed
Palkia is the legendary Pokemon in Pearl, and there is also various Pokemon found in Pearl, but not in Diamond. Diamond has some, that Pearl doesn't have.
