The short story" I used to live here once " written by Jean Rhys !
The theme of "Used to Live Here Once" by Rhys revolves around memory, loss, and the passage of time. The narrative explores a sense of nostalgia as the protagonist reflects on a once-familiar place that now feels alien and disconnected. This dislocation highlights the transient nature of life and the emotional weight of returning to a past that has irrevocably changed. Ultimately, the story evokes a poignant sense of longing for what has been lost.

Yes but it is very rare, copies can show up at abebooks but are likely to be expensive. It is without doubt the rarest Jean Rhys related book (actually a translation and rewriting by her of a book by Jim Jean Leenlet aka Deward de Neve), even the British Library copy has been "mislaid..." If searching for it look for 'Barred' by Neve NOT Rhys. Good luck. Mugwort.
