At just 16, you star on the popular Disney show "Dog with a Blog" and are launching your own app! Can you tell us more about your nail app Make Me Nails"?

Make Me Nails is the first fully customizable nail wrap app. Users can take a photo, upload from their camera roll, choose from Instagram or Facebook, or chose from our preselected designs. Then, they can put a different image on each nail and create something totally personalized!

Customizable nail wraps is such a creative idea -- what inspired you to create your own nail app?

I have always loved doing nail art, but I wanted to find a way to make it more accessible for people. So when Make Me co-founder Lauren Jones (CEO of a social media and digital marketing company) had the idea of turning it into an app- I was completely on board! What could be more accessible than an app on your phone?

Have you always been into painting and designing your nails?

Yes! I started doing nail art when I was 10 by watching YouTube tutorials, and I've loved it ever since. It's a great way to express yourself.

What's hot for nail art in 2015?

It changes throughout the different seasons, but for the upcoming spring and summer season- florals! It's all about florals. Detailed, abstract, colorful, or muted. No matter how they are depicted, florals are in. Gel nails also continue to dominate the nail market. And, hopefully, nail wraps will continue to succeed in 2015 with Make Me Nails! :)

What is your #1 tip for keeping your nails in healthy shape?

You need to treat your nails just like you would your hair or face. You need to clean them and make sure they are strong and healthy. I love acrylics and gels, don't get me wrong, but you need to give your nails a break from those things. Wear them for a few months, and then take them off for a few months and let your nails heal before you do it again. Try to go sans polish every couple weeks for maximum nail health, and always apply a top coat that contains a nail strengthener.

You play Avery Jennings in Disney's "Dog with a Blog". Avery is a hard working, overachiever who likes order and dislikes her brother Tyler. How similar are you to Avery in real life?

I think we are both passionate and dedicated, other than that- Avery is 100% her own person!

Is it difficult working with a dog on set? Are there any challenges?

It takes patience, but overall it's a lot of fun. We have an incredible cast and crew that make the entire process so much fun!

Avery thanks you for that compliment. :) I absolutely love fashion! It's so fun to wear the clothes on DWAB, Avery has a really unique sense of style.

How would you describe your personal style?

I like classic pieces with edgy touches, I love menswear, but I also love really girly and feminine pieces. I'm all over the map!

What is it like to work with Blake Michael and Francesca Capaldi as your siblings on the show?

Blake and Francesca are like my real life sister and brother. They are so sweet and they always make me laugh. I love them a lot.
