We were super psyched to hear that "Bella and the Bulldogs" was renewed for a second season on Nickelodeon! What was your reaction when you found out it was renewed?

Oh my gosh, it was crazy! We were actually in the middle of a Network luncheon so everyone was there--like everybody--and they were gathering the cast and they were like, "Okay there's some exciting news..." and we thought it was going to be second season but we honestly had no idea. So they told us and we were all screaming and we had a little dance party before the run-through and it was really really fun because I got to spend it with the cast and all the Nickelodeon Network.

"Bella and the Bulldogs" follows Bella as she attempts to balance being a high school cheerleader and the quarterback of her school's football team. What challenges does Bella face in being simultaneously a cheerleader and a quarterback?

Well, in the pilot she is struggling being both a cheerleader and a quarterback, but later on in the show she focuses more on being a quarterback than a cheerleader. But there's a lot of conflicts that she has to go through because she has to juggle her cheerleader best friends and her football team. So when she goes through a lot of things like friendships, guys she likes and tries to deal with both the boys and the girls...it's a lot going on. She always has a lot to deal with but her friends are so loyal, they always try to help her out.

She has a great support system, specifically from your character Pepper. How would you describe Bella and Pepper's friendship in your own words?

Well, Pepper is Bella's overly caffeinated best friend. She's a ball of energy, she's boy crazy but at the same time she has a huge heart, she's super loyal and supports Bella through anything that she does. Even though it might affect Pepper and Sophie they're always by each other's side, which I love.

If you had to choose between football and cheerleading, which one would you choose?

That's hard because I've never been a football player and I've never been a cheerleader so I really have no idea what it's like. I mean, I kind of what to do what Bella is doing--kind of do both. I think football would be really cool because I love sports. But I also love Cheerleading because I used to dance, so I don't know! I'd do both.

In the episode "Incomplete Pass" it is revealed that Pepper and Sawyer have a crush on one another. Do you think Pepper and Sawyer will ever date?

I actually know what happens but I'm not going to say anything. There's a lot of twists that come with it because if you think about it, he's part of the football team and she's a cheerleader. So there's a lot of drama yet comedy going on. I don't know actually, you guys will just have to wait and see.

What has been your favorite episode to film so far and why?

I really did love the "Incomplete Pass", the episode that just came out. It was super fun filming because I had all of my scenes with the boys and I usually never have any scenes with the boys. It's always been cheerleading, so that was a nice change. We had a lot of bloopers without takeovers so that was really fun. But yeah, I loved that episode, it was really fun to see. Brec had to do a lot of Spanish, which was crazy, but I mean she's really good at it.

So "Bella and the Bulldogs" is definitely not your first acting gig. You've acted in many hit television series and even played the voice of "Sqweep" in Nickelodeon's "Monsters vs. Aliens". What was it like to be a part of an animated feature film?

Oh it's awesome! it's definitely different because when you go to an audition you want to dress like the character and stuff...but for your voice you don't have to dress up or anything. You just have to take care of your voice. It's really cool because when you go in the studio, you're just standing there with the headphones and a mic and you're trying to do all these different crazy sounds. I mean, I love it. They're both very different and unique but they're both also similar and different you know?

Is there one that you prefer over the other or are you open to both?

You know, I don't know. I do like both a lot, I mean voice over is cool but only because you don't really have to do anything, you just talk. But I actually love interacting with people. Because for voice overs you don't really meet the cast, you just do it on your own. So I love being social and talking.

If you could work with anyone in the acting industry on any film or television series...what would be your dream role?

I would love to work with Mindy Kaling from The Mindy Project. It would be totally fun!

How do you balance your work and school life? Do you see yourself going to college? What are your future aspirations?

Right now, I definitely see myself going through college. It could even be homeschool college, like if I could just do it at home if I can't make it there every single day. I mean it's difficult. I'm just a teenager girl having to balance two crazy lives. It's fun but on set, we have 3 teachers who help us. When I'm not on set, I do it by myself and I also have a teacher that I meet up with. It's difficult but it's also really fun. It's a crazy exciting journey, especially because I have a lot of people there to guide me and to help me.
