The new Transformers films have proceeded to win the hearts of millions worldwide both child and adult alike. So imagine the excitement when the new fully transforming figures hit the shops.
One of the most sought after figures is that of Bumblebee, the main star of the film. When displayed in the box, bumblebee is in the form of a robot, but next to him is the image of the beautiful 2008 yellow Camaro that he transforms into. This is enough to make anyone pick one up from the shelf.
When you begin to move the joints on the figure, you will notice how flexible the ball joints are. There is no stiffness, and they are really easily moved around, making transforming into the car really easy.
Within minutes of getting to grips with the figure it can easily be transformed into the beautiful 2008 yellow Camaro.
Once in the form of the Camaro, the figure is a fully functioning car. All the pieces click into place allowing space for the wheels to move with ease.
When in robot form, you will notice the incredible attention to detail throughout the model. It is incredible how intricate the detailing is all over the model.
In addition, when the figure is in robot form, it has one fully functioning plasma cannon. Ok so it is not real, but it comes with a great little missile that can be shot from the canon by pressing a little spring release button.
In conclusion, this action figure makes a great gift for anyone of any age. If you followed the cartoon series when you were a child or if you are new to Transformers and are just taken aback by the awe inspiring visual effects of the movies, the transforming figures make an excellent gift, they have a guidance age of 5+ for the sake of small pieces but if you are 5 or 50 these figures are amazing fun.
