It's not long until Halloween, and you've decided that you want to wear a prince costume. First, you will need to decide which prince you want to resemble. There are several from which to choose. Generally, princes are thought of as handsome young men from the medieval days, wearing pointed shoes, tights and a belted tunic. That look is easily achieved. Think again. Take a chance. Be the talk of the party. Show up as a flashy sequined rock star. You will need a glittery suit, a neon-colored guitar, long black curly wig and enough eye makeup to fully support a mascara company.

Also, there was the prince who made the hit on Cinderella. If this interests you, wear the costume with the tights and crown. Also carry a glass or clear plastic slipper. If you cannot locate one, any high-heeled shoe will work. It will still be the defining factor in exactly which prince you are. Remember, this prince was required to dance with all the ladies at the ball.

If you are the kind of person who likes to put an unusual spin on your Halloween costume; think about dressing like the frog who became a prince. The frog that became a prince is a great fairy tale that most people know from their childhood. If you'll remember, the frog became a prince only after the beautiful princess kissed him. The costume can be an actual frog suit with an added crown. Adorn the frog with a royal purple cape with white fur and there will be no doubt which prince you are. You shouldn't be surprised if all the girls at the party ask to kiss you.

Bring out the real "prince" in you and be surprised at all the attention you will get. Anyone can wear a prince costume, but you'll be the one who put thought and creativity into the idea. You may actually find your princess or your roadies, whichever the case may be.
