The thing that controls how we look is our genes. Genes are passed from mother and father to son and daughter. This is why we look somewhat like our parents and siblings. There is a special gene known as the sex gene. This gene comes in to different forms, the X chromosome and the Y chromosome. If you have two X chromosomes you are a woman. If you have one Y and one X you are a man. So if a couple have a son then the Y chromosome MUST have come from the father(because the mother doesn't have one). When a child is conceived the father donates an X(50%) or a Y(50%), the mother donates an X(100%). I would like to point out that it is nobody's "fault" or "problem" it is a simple "roll of the dice". You are more or less likely to have a girl 50% of the time. The chance that a couple will have 4 boys in a row is therefore 6.25%. In other words out of 100 couples about 6 of them will have 4 boys in a row.

Explain what is meant by the basic economic problem?

Economic problem is the problem regarding allocation of limited resources for the production of alternative goods and services. in other words, economic problem is the 'problem of choice'. Since the resources are scarce and they have alternative uses, there arises the problem of choice regarding the use of these resources. The law of scarcity states that goods are scare because there are not enough resources to produce all goods that people want to consume. Thus, Economic Problem is the 'problem of relative scarcity' and the 'problem of choice' arising therefrom. The basic economic problems of an economy are given below:What to produce and how much to produce? How to produce? For whom to produce?Problem of fuller utilisation of resources.Problem of efficiency in utilisation of resources.Problem of economic growth.
