All Substances are built from Atoms
I thought it was pure substance. But i recently took a Science Test of these subject(i'm also in 8th grade) and it was the same question...EXACTLY! I put down Pure substance as well but appearantly the answer was "All of the Above" which included A.Pure Substance B.Compound C.Element ... so as long as you can prove it was only pure substance( This was for extra credit to get points back on the test for my teacher) You got the points. In my opinion a Pure Substance is the substance in which there is only one type of particle. I hoped this helped :)
no, cuz there is a thing called the expansivity of a substance that tells us how much a particular substance will expand over 1 degree change in temprature
An element. The particules are atoms.
mechanical mixture
An element - substance - NOT a mixture.

Blocks of concrete like substance.

Molecules are the smallest part of a substance. Molecules have all the properties of a substance.
Substance is important because it defines the essential character or nature of something. It provides the foundation on which things are built or developed. Without substance, things lack depth, meaning, or value.
When all atoms in a substance are alike, the substance is an element. Each element is composed of atoms that have the same number of protons in their nucleus.
A substance in which all atoms are identical is called an element.

Diamonds are the hardest known substance
The simplest substance known is the hydrogen atom. It is the most abundant element in the universe and consists of just one proton and one electron. All other elements in the periodic table are built by combining hydrogen atoms with other atoms through nuclear fusion processes.
what is a substance containing all of the same type of atom
A substance can be an ingredient, but not all substances are ingredients.
