According to a Jewlery Co, yes it does mean 18k. They also use a # designation for 14k. I don't know what it is however.
These numbered designations are mainly used in France, England and other European countries. They continue as follows:
22 carat ~ 916
18 carat ~ 750
14 carat ~ 585
9 carat ~ 375
Please note: The English, most especially, utilize "carat" in metal purity. Whereas, in the USA we use the word "karat" for metal purity and "carat" in terms of gemstone weight.
The density of a given substance will not change as long as the purity remains the same. That is, if both the ring and the necklace are made of 14 karat gold, they will have the same density, but the overall mass of gold in each item is different.
An 18k race (18 kilometers) is 11.18 miles.
because it is an harding agent
"1054 AR" stamped on a gold necklace typically refers to the manufacturer's mark, identifying the jewelry maker or company that produced the necklace. It does not indicate the gold's purity or value, as those would typically be expressed in terms of karats (e.g., 14k, 18k).
18k gold
The 0750 means the watch is 18K Gold>
it means gold plated
This means that the ring is matt gold electroplated. The 18k is the amount of gold that is found in the ring.
Bvlgari 18k silver necklace
I had the same thing stamped on my 10k gold necklace. I called a jeweller and they weren't very helpful but they told me it was most likely the brand name.
The ring is not actual solid 18K gold, it is only plated with 18K. The metal under the plating is not gold!
"18K" should be stamped on the inside of a ring band or near the clasp of a bracelet or necklace if it is 18 karat gold. No stamp may mean it is custume jewelry or the stamp may be worn off. A jeweler can authenticate a piece for you if you are unsure.
in all probably hct is a company ident .mark if hge (heavy gold electroplate) ge (gold electroplate) gf (gold filled) P (means plum gold or exactly 18k,14k,12k,10k,9k,)
Oh, dude, PL 18k stamped on a gold necklace? That's just fancy talk for "Hey, this bling is 18 karat gold." It's like the designer's way of saying, "This necklace is worth more than your entire wardrobe, but you probably already knew that, right?" So, yeah, it's legit gold, not some cheap knockoff.
"18k" refers to the purity of the gold, in this case 18 karats. "ch" may indicate the chain style such as cable, curb, or hollow rope. This means the necklace is made of 75% pure gold and may have a specific type of chain.
