The MSDS for glycerine looks fairly benign, so if you spit the stuff back out, you might not die.
BP when placed before or after a number the P means years before the present. There is some trouble in using BP in the present year as it is not understood.
It is a "sphygmomanometer." I'm not joking.
All liquids have different boiling point (BP). It's one of the must important characteristics of liquids. You can distinguish and also separate a mixture of liquids by boiling off one with a lower BP. The BP of every liquid depends upon the attractive forces among the atoms or molecules of the material such as hydrogen bonds, dipole attraction, London forces, etc....
If completely unraveled, human DNA would stretch from the Earth to the Moon. If you stretch it and not unravel it, the distance is on average about 6 ft. (2 m) long, but is a very thin thread. The single human chromosome on average consists of DNA molecules approximately 2 inches long. The Physics Factbook [see link below] gives the formula of: "The length is (length of 1 bp)(number of bp per cell) which is (0.34 nm)(6 × 109)"
CH3Cl because it is polar meaning it has both a dipole-dipole bond and dispersion bond, where as CCl4 is non polar and only has a dispersion bond. Since CH3Cl is bonded together stronger, it will be harder to break up and therefore a greater temperature will be required to boil it Edited (9/20/10) CCl4 has a bp 76.7 C, CH3Cl has a bp -24.2 C, see wikipedia or MSDS info. That means the first answer is wrong. Boiling points are based on intermolecular forces. Stronger the forces, lower the vapor pressure, higher the bp. The reason CCl4 has a higher boiling point is because dispersion forces increase with increasing molecular weight and # of electrons. Therefore the greater number of electrons in CCl4 create a stronger dispersion force than the combined dipole+dispersion forces in the CH3Cl.
Glycerin and glycerin BP are the same product, a sweet smelling, colorless liquid that can be used to make soaps or as a moisturizer. The difference is that the BP is pharmaceutical grade and the other is not.
Yes

No, it isn't used as high BP medicine, but by helping with anxiety, it can indirectly lower BP. It is not prescribed just for high BP levels.
if taking a manual BP you need a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope if taking a mechanical BP the machine used is called a Dynamap
As of July 2014, the market cap for BP p.l.c. (BP) is $157,930,682,942.25.

BP stands for British Petroleum.
The symbol for BP p.l.c. in the NYSE is: BP.
The letters BP after a date stand for "Before Present." This term is typically used in archaeological or historical contexts to denote time periods before the year AD 1950.
