A solution is a mixture of a liquid and one or more solids that have dissolved in the liquid and is inseparable. A suspension involves a solid and liquid; but the solids have not dissolved and are spread throughout the liquid or have settled at the bottom and have dissolved very little, or have not dissolved.

Orange juice from concentrate would be a solution, although real orange juice is neither a solution or a suspension. The major difference between solution and suspension is that a solution is a homogeneous mixture, and a suspension is heterogeneous.
