Direct means:

Essentially, direct means to be straight (in course or direction; i.e. direct route), straightforward, purposeful (i.e. a direct effect of Joe doing his homework was that his grades improved.)

Indirect means to be a roundabout way, accidental, side effectual (i.e. The indirect effect of the Spanish Inquisition was the economic collapse of Spain.)

indirect transmission is when it is airborn through a sneeze or cough, it can be indirect when i person is sick and you touch an object that have been touched and you can get ill by contact of the germs from the sick person like a door knob, a phone, sink knob.toliet and even cups you dont have to touch the person to get sick indirect can also get people sick. for example if you are talking to a person and they are coughing without covering their mouth, their germ particles from the sickness can get onto you which can make you sick.

direct transmission is direct contact to a person such as hug,kiss,handshake and even sexual activities can direct to get a person sick and ill, like for example, when i person is already sick and you didnt even know and you hug or kiss the person you can get automatically sick from that person, another example is sex lets say the person have aids or a diesae and you didnt knew and you have sexual activities with him/or her and you can catch the diease the person may have.

so people be careful with this stuff it is very important to keep yourself from getting sick and also make sure you know the person who you decide to have sexual action with because you may never know he/or she may have a disease or can even just be sick with the flu or with a cold so be catious
