Species.
Ecosystems can be named in two ways; biotic or abiotic.... Either 1) Based on the abiotic environment (Eg. Freshwater Marine) 2) Based on the primary/dominant biotic organisms/species in the community
Temperature is just a name for "internal energy of grain / molecular / atomic / nucleon motion". Melting is changing from "grain dominant" motion to "molecular dominant" motion, as the energy released in forming the (usually) more stable grain structure is added back in.

explain how dominant genes work
If you have 2 dominant alleles, the gene will be dominant, if you have 2 recessive alleles, the gene will be recessive. But if you have 1 recessive and 1 dominant, the Dominant allele will mask the recessive one.

biome
The community level of organization is often dominated by only a few species. These dominant species can have a significant impact on the structure and function of the community.
A single plant community typically consists of only one dominant plant species that thrives in a specific habitat. This type of community is characterized by a homogenous vegetation structure and composition, with the dominant species playing a key role in shaping the ecosystem dynamics and functioning. The presence of other plant species within this community is usually limited, with the dominant species outcompeting other plants for resources such as sunlight, water, and nutrients.

The dominant economic structure
The dominant element in music that often dictates the overall tone and structure of a piece is the melody.
dominant
In a lobster community, there is a clear hierarchy where dominant lobsters have higher status and access to resources, while subordinate lobsters have lower status and limited access to resources. This hierarchy impacts their social structure and behavior by influencing interactions such as mating, feeding, and territorial disputes. Dominant lobsters are more likely to win these interactions, while subordinate lobsters may exhibit submissive behaviors to avoid conflict. This hierarchy helps maintain order and stability within the lobster community.
An ecological community characterized by a dominant vegetation is called a biome. Biomes are distinct regions that are defined by their climate, soil type, and dominant plant life. Examples include rainforests, deserts, and grasslands.
