If the mixture is completely homogeneous, then the mixture is true solution as in the

solution the solute particles are completely dissolved and have uniform composition.

These are transparent.

A colloid is a type of mixture in which one substance is dispersed evenly throughout another. These are mostly translucent, for example:-milk.

A suspension is most easy to identify since the solute particles do not dissolve in the solution. They either keep floating in the solution or settle down at the bottom.

a suspension does not have the same properties as a solutions does. solutions and suspension also differ in the size of their particles and the way the parts of the mixtures can be separated.

Leave it to stand for a while, if it is a solution, it does not separate.

If it is a suspension, it separates to two or more components.

When copper sulphat is stirred into a water water turns blue what two tests carry out to see whether this mixture is suspension or a solution?

A suspension is cloudy or will not allow light through, a solution is clear even though it can be colored. One way to test is to shine a light through the water mixture and see if it allows light to come through without breaking it up or dimming it. If it does it's a solution, if not its a suspension.

What criteria determine whether a heterogeneous mixture is a collide or a suspension?

I can answer the suspension part. If there are visible particles in the mixture on the top of the liquid and on the liquid itself, normally, dropping or heading up the (to the top of the cup/glass/goblet) it is called a suspension.

Determine if homogenized milk is a mechanical mixture or a solution?

Homogenized milk is a solution. Because in a solution the particles are evenly distributed. Where as in a heterogenized mixture they are not and you can see the different particles. Therefore homogenized milk is a solution.

Is a solution a pure substance or a mixture?

Mixture. Solution involves a solute and solvent, usually separable by physical means. (ex. Water & Sugar) A pure substance, whether element or compound, consists of only one component and a defined composition.

How is a mixture determined to be heterogeneous or homogeneous?

One way to decide whether a sample of matter is homogeneous or heterogeneous is just by looking at it.

Is aerosol deodorant being sprayed a suspension?

Aerosol is somewhat of a blanket term referring to a suspension of fine solid or liquid particles. Aerosol can even be things such as smoke, smog and air pollution. Basically, in the context of the can, the aerosol is the delivery method of the solution being suspended, whether it's a deodorant or a lubricant.
