If we did not know what astronomy was, we would not know how the world got here; we would not know how life got here; So, all in all, we would not even know how WE got here. We would practically not know anything. This is why astronomy is so important to the world. We would be so naive, almost every thing we make is to help protect us from the universe around us. Our life is devoted to creating objects and to discover new things to PROTECT us, not only from our world, but from the universe around us too.
