How do humans make electricity?

There is different types of producing electricity.

• Nuclear plants
• Electrical stations
• Solar plants

Now, there is a chain to convert any type of power into electrical current.

Power source-electrical generator.

In case of power plants for example, is used carbon that is burned and vapor(steam) is rotating turbines. The movement of that turbines is transformed into electricity thanks to electromagnetic effect (if you simplify it will be a magnet moving around a metal wire- which makes electrons in that wire initiate an electrical current)

In case of Solar plants the chain has the same principles- Solar power hits solar plate- transforms into electricity and accumulates in batteries.

In case of hydro plants turbines are moved by water instead of steam as in power plants.

In case of windmills turbines are moved by wind.

Nuclear stations are using a different physical effect wich i will not describe because i do not want to bring any confusion.
