Usually a graphing calculator should have all the capabilities you expect from a scientific calculator (and more, since it does the graphing). For more details, check the manual of your calculator if you already have one.
not all scientific calculators are the same. what is the calc's brand and model number? Check with the calculator's manual or if you don't have it look on the manufacturer's website
Short for cosine. Check this site out for detailed info. http://www.clarku.edu/~djoyce/trig/
You can calculate that on any scientific calculator. Just make sure that the calculator is set to "degrees". As a check, the sine of 90° should come out as exactly 1.
It's different on every calculator, so check your manual. But on the TI-3X, look for the DEG RAD button (for switching between degrees and radians) and the SCI ENG button (for switching between scientific notation for all numbers and sci not for just large answers).
Here is how to solve this. Decide on a direction for each vector. Use your scientific calculator to do a polar-to-rectangular conversion - i.e., separate each vector in horizontal and vertical components. (Check your calculator's manual on how to carry out a polar-to-rectangular conversion.) Add the vectors by components. Finally, convert back to polar (rectangular-to-polar conversion, on your scientific calculator).
It is short for sine (pronouncing it as sin annoys many maths teachers). Check this site out for detailed info. http://www.clarku.edu/~djoyce/trig/
Look for a button marked "cos". Note that some calculators have degrees, radians and other measurements. So check you are in the right mode.
There is a fairly simple method that can be used to calculate battery life, but you would have to know the power consumption of the device your 4100 Ah battery is powering up. If you hit the web and check out the DigiKey Battery Life Calculator, you can enter the requisite information and get a good idea of the battery life/run time.
It is not on-line. But you can check - Bifido Punnett Square Calculator
There is no such number on a calculator. If you see "R" on a calculator, it is probably some calculation - for example, conversion from polar to rectangular coordinates. Check the manual for your calculator.
