To measure the volume of a marble is really easy. First you need to fill the graduated cylinder with water (enough so the marble will be submerged). Then get the volume of the water (ex. 50 ml). Drop the marble into the the graduated cylinder and get the new volume (ex. 60 ml). Now its time to do some math take the new volume of the water ( ex. 60ml ) and subtract it from the original volume ( ex. 50 ml). so for my example the volume of the object would be 10 ml. Then you can simply change the the unit of measure to anything you want. I hope this helps
It measured by the density of the size from the hydrometer.
Yes, we can use hydrometer to measure the density of milk. Explanation Hydrometer is a device which is used to measure the density of a liquid. Hydrometers are calibrated for different uses, such as a lactometer for measuring the density (creaminess) of milk, a saccharometer for measuring the density of sugar in a liquid, or an alcoholometer for measuring higher levels of alcohol in spirits
density
to identify package size, weight=volume*density. if you know density you will know the volume of the bag.
They would use density to measure the volume of a substance :)
What do you want to measure about the marble? Its diameter, radius, circumference, volume, mass, density...?
A marble would sink in shampoo because the density of the marble is greater than the density of the shampoo. Density is a measure of how much mass is contained in a given volume, and objects with higher density will sink in substances with lower density.
That depends what aspect of a marble you want to measure, for example its diameter, its mass, its density, its color, etc.
The density of marble rock is typically around 2.7-2.8 grams per cubic centimeter.
To convert one ton of marble to one cubic meter, you need to know the density of the marble. The density of marble varies, but it is typically around 2.5 to 2.7 grams per cubic centimeter. You can use this density value to calculate the volume in cubic meters that one ton of marble would occupy.
The density of the marble is about 4.94 g/cm3
That depends a lot what you want to measure: its diameter, surface area, volume, mass, density, color, hardness, etc.
The density of the marble would be determined by dividing the marble's mass (12.5 g) by its volume (5ml), which would give you 2.5g/ml.
Because the marble has a higher density than the water does
the rock has a greater volume than the marble
One way to make a marble float is by using a density experiment. You can dissolve different amounts of salt in water to create solutions with varying densities. If you carefully drop the marble into the solution with a density close to that of the marble, it should float.
To find the volume of a marble, you would use the formula for the volume of a sphere, which is V = (4/3)πr^3, where V is the volume and r is the radius of the marble. Measure the diameter of the marble and divide it by 2 to get the radius. Then, plug the radius into the formula to calculate the volume of the marble in cubic units.
