The gods and goddesses are all shown in the Museum of Olympus. But since she always uses the same ones, they are Ares, Hermes, Aphrodite, Artemis, and Hestia. There are only about a dozen gods in the museum, so remembering or even writing down their names should not be difficult.
You have to figure out the gods and goddesses names. This is the order:1. Ares2. Hermes3. Aphrodite4. Artemis5. Hestia.

You get the free reed pipe (flute) in the Temple of Muses in the Grove. In one of the chambers is the statue of Euterpe, muse of music. If you pass her test, she will give you a 6-note song that calms Cerberus. You need the card to use it, but it is "blue-green-yellow-blue-red-green".
The gods on Aphrodite's test are Ares, Hermes, Aphrodite, Artemis, and Hestia.
The reed pipe (flute) is free in the Grove, inside the Temple of the Muses. Go to the far right inside, then come back to the statue of Euterpe (muse of music) to take a musical test.
You should go into the museum, and get the starfish from the statue of Poseidon. Then to the Temple Grove, to get the flute and pass Euterpe's test. Then back to the left of the Village, into the forest and to the Tree of Immortality. You will need the reed pipe, and the Golden Apple, before you can go anywhere useful. Herc's place is a major distraction, and of no value until much later.
