'co2' should be written as CO2. Single letter elements always use a capital letter. Carbon (C) being a single letter element is a CAPITAL 'C' . Similarly for oxygen. 'Suffix' '2' should be written 'subscript' . However, I cannot show this on 'Answers',

There is one carbon per every carbon dioxide molecule. They're are also two oxygen molecules in carbon dioxide.
