Very little. Some gold-plating is barely a tenth of a micro-metre (0.000005 inches) thick, and when you look at the small area that's actually plated... It would be extremely unusual to find a circuit board with anywhere near a tenth of a gram (0.0035 ounces) of gold on it.

Typically very less. Selective gold plating is done in PCBs usually on certain pins, mounting holes, edge fingers or guide rails for specialized applications. The amount of gold plated is very less as the thickness of gold plating is very less (typically few microns). So overall amount of gold on each PCB is very less.

What are the benefits and dangers of electrical energy?

SHORT CIRCUIT AND OVERLOADElectricity energy is supplied into homes by pairs of insulated copper wires placed on walls and ceilings. Not much heat is produced in the wires because copper has low resistivity. However,if the current is very large, the wires may become hot enough to melt or burn the insulation and start a fire. This large current may be caused either by a short circuit or by overloading the circuit. 2. CIRCUIT PROTECTORThe panel board in your home where electrical energy is distributed through different circuits contains fuses or has a circuit breaker system. Each circuit branching out from the panel is connected in series to a fuse or circuit breaker.Fuse and circuit breaker are safety devices that brake the circuit whenever overload or short occurs by breaking the circuit of fire are prevented.

What is the difference between a Load center and a Panel-board?

Low-voltage load centers typically have electrically operated draw-out type air circuit breaker units while panelboards typically have mold-case air circuit breakers or fused disconnect switchgear contained in steel enclosures.

Why do fuses break the current in a circuit?

The reason for a fuse to break the current within a circuit is to protect the circuit itself and prevent fire. When an excess of electricity (or, too much electricity for the circuit to safely handle) attempts to pass through the fuse, a physical break within the connections of the fuse occurs. By breaking the connection, the excessive electricity is stopped, and prevented from causing possible overheating within the circuit, which could result in fire and permanent damage to the circuit.

How much gold is on gold plater computer pins?

Depends. If it is gold plated, it is negligible. Best to gather alot of plated pins & fingers & eBay them or sell them to a recovery service. (eBay is usually best) If it is a Gold pin that (from the large end) appears to be a thick layer of gold around a thin steel or aluminum color center, that pin could be as much as 2/3 gold! Alot of pins can = alot of gold. Hope this helps!

Is their iron in a mobile phone?

No, no parts of cell phones or mobile phones are made of iron. The metals used in these phones are:Aluminium (covers, frames, battery, circuit board.)Antimony (covers)Barium (circuit board)Beryllium (connectors)Cobalt (lithium-ion batteries)Copper (circuit boards, wires, connectors, batteries)Chromium (cover, case)Gallium (LED light)Gold (electronic parts, connectors, circuit board)Indium (screen)Lead (circuit board)Manganese (circuit board, case)Nickel (battery)Palladium (circuit board)Platinum (circuit board)Ruthenium (circuit board)Silver (circuit board)Iron is heavy, gets warm quickly and reacts with moisture in the air leading to rust, so iron is not a suitable metal for a phone.
