Continuous conduction.
A hair dryer will use convection.

It really all depends on the type of Fireplace you have. Fireplaces usually run on a pilot with a thermocouple or thermopile. These produce their own milivolts to run the gas valve. These type of fireplaces do not need power to ignite. If the fireplace's on/off switch is a remote that runs off of batteries or is a switch on the faceplate of the fireplace, then this fireplace should work with no power. Most fireplaces have a blower that circulates the warm air it generates. This fan would be running on 120v from the street and would not work when the power goes out. You may still have a flame on, but all the heat it generates is going out the stack. Other fireplaces have no fan and are mainly for looks. You may have a fireplace that is dependent on the 120volts and will do nothing. Check the operation manual on your fireplace.
i think its conduction im not sure i have the same question in school but i think its conduction because they have direct contact which is conduction so i think im right
A radiator in a heating system uses conduction to transfer heat from hot water or steam to the surrounding air. The hot water or steam flows through the radiator, heating up the metal fins, which then warms the air in the room through conduction.
When planning a stone fireplace design for a home renovation project, key considerations include the size and scale of the fireplace in relation to the room, the type of stone material to use, the style and aesthetic of the overall design, the placement of the fireplace for optimal heating and visual impact, and any necessary safety and building code requirements.

Depending on the type of room and size of room, gas inserts may be bought and installed to custom room sizes. Under many retailers, there are inserts for small, medium and large sized rooms so there is a gas fireplace insert for all rooms.
An iron uses conduction as the primary method of heat transfer. Heat is transferred from the heating element inside the iron to the soleplate, which then heats up the fabric through direct contact.
A fireplace. The same thing you call it. At least, that is what I have gathered from watching British television shows.

Forced convection. Heat is transferred through the air in the room by the movement of the air from the heating vents.
Radiant baseboard heating is a type of heating system that uses electric resistance heating elements or hot water to heat a space. It is typically installed near the baseboard of a room to provide consistent and efficient heat distribution. The heat radiates from the baseboard, warming the air in the room and creating a comfortable environment.
Continuous conduction.
Yes, the heat you feel from a fireplace is classified as radiation. This type of heat transfer occurs through electromagnetic waves emitted by the fire, which then transfer thermal energy to nearby objects or people without the need for direct contact.
A radiator is a device with a large surface area designed to heat the air near it by conduction. This type of heating system typically consists of metal fins that are in contact with hot water or steam to transfer heat to the surrounding air through conduction.
