It is a chemical change
anytime you burn something it will most likely be chemical change because something new comes out, for example when you burn the leaves you will get ash which is something the leaves did not have before!
your welcome!:)
i think its chemical because its a substance with different identity
Burning leaves, or burning anything, is a chemical change; the chemicals are changing to different chemicals. Cellulose in the leaves becomes carbon dioxide (among other changes).
Chemical.
chemical change.change, added on to by upupin-I believe it changed color because of the chlorophyll that dies off because the length of sunlight hours decreases during winter time
Farmyard manure creates heat energy from decomposition of leaves. There is also physical change because the leaves' structure is broken down. The main factors for producing good manure are: water, which is already part of the manure; heat, which is generated by the decomposing leaves; and air, which is needed to aid the decomposition, because decomposition is a very slow form of "burning". Quite a high temperature can be generated in a manure heap or a compost heap.
It is a physical change because is it changing the leaf? No, no it isn't so it is a physical change.
Yes. The melting point of salt solutions is lower than that of pure water.
Burning leaves would be a chemical change because once the leaves are burnt, you can't turn the ashes back into leaves.
No, it's a chemical reaction with O2.In physical changes the chemical formula remains the same; like ice (H2O) and water (H2O). Burning wood is something like cellulose + O2 --> CO2 + H2O

Powdery is an adjective which not require any change! You can have a physical change where a large lump of some substance is ground into powder. Or you can have a chemical change (eg magnesium burning) which leaves a powdery residue.
