It is a chemical change
anytime you burn something it will most likely be chemical change because something new comes out, for example when you burn the leaves you will get ash which is something the leaves did not have before!
your welcome!:)
Chemical.
chemical change.change, added on to by upupin-I believe it changed color because of the chlorophyll that dies off because the length of sunlight hours decreases during winter time
Farmyard manure creates heat energy from decomposition of leaves. There is also physical change because the leaves' structure is broken down. The main factors for producing good manure are: water, which is already part of the manure; heat, which is generated by the decomposing leaves; and air, which is needed to aid the decomposition, because decomposition is a very slow form of "burning". Quite a high temperature can be generated in a manure heap or a compost heap.
It is a physical change because is it changing the leaf? No, no it isn't so it is a physical change.
Yes. The melting point of salt solutions is lower than that of pure water.
Burning leaves would be a chemical change because once the leaves are burnt, you can't turn the ashes back into leaves.
No, it's a chemical reaction with O2.In physical changes the chemical formula remains the same; like ice (H2O) and water (H2O). Burning wood is something like cellulose + O2 --> CO2 + H2O
The burning of leaves is a chemical reaction. The way we can tell is because after the leaves are burned, they cannot go back to the way they were. Butter melting is a physical reaction because it does not change the molecules, and the butter has the ability to go back to it's original state.

Leaves falling from a tree is a physical change. It is a change in state or appearance without altering the chemical composition of the leaves.

The change is leaf color is a chemical change.
Burning (an oxidation reaction) is a chemical change,
Pruning of leaves is a physical change because it only involves the physical removal of plant tissue (leaves), without altering the chemical composition of the leaves themselves.
