On the face of it, the relationship does seem to be parasitic, but you must remember that:
Parasitism is a type of symbiotic relationship between organisms of different species where one organism, the parasite, benefits at the expense of the host.

Talking religiously you could have been a person who was deceased but might have been reborn and might have not remembered anything about being the deceased person! Talking in science terms though... you could take a blood sample of a dead or alive thing and clone it into and unborn baby which is the same person as you just a clone and put it inside a woman. thus making a rebirth! Science has yet to learn how to do these things..
