No. Water is water.
At normal atmospheric pressure, i.e. near sea level, water boils at 212 F or 100 C. The fact that it is tap water, not pure water, would make very little difference.
sea water has salt in into, tap water is cleaned so no nasty stuff is in it. http://dollarpocketmoney.com/?refcode=45624 look here for more info
Although it would seem rain water is much cleaner than faucet water, rain passes through all the dirt particles in the air. In highly polluted cities or ones with former steel mills and factories, rain water would be highly contaminated. Think about rain water from the streets of New York City NY, or Erie PA, or Youngstown OH, or even some of the oil refinery towns in Texas. Faucet water is called tap water and is treated with various chemicals and may have floride added. Since many cities draw from area dams, the water treatment is very important to rid the water of it's standing water//dirt taste, along with the smell and taste of fish and other chemical run-off (example: sulfur).
No. tap water will not even harm it.

Tap water contains impurities like nutrients, some trace elements, and microorganisms. Distilled water is close to pure H20.
Only add Distilled water to a battery, never tap water, or rain water.
Voltage can be compared with the level to which the tap is opened. (Volume of water) Current can be compared with the speed at which water flows from tap. (Flow of water).
Rain water can be colder than tap water because it comes from the atmosphere where temperatures are typically cooler than those underground where tap water is sourced. Additionally, rain water may cool down further as it falls through the atmosphere before reaching the ground.
