Water that is highly purified will not conduct. Not all purified water is minerals free. minerals help the water conduct better and pure water doesn't have minerals, so the water doesn't conduct and doesn't make electricity. Pure water will not conduct current it is the minerals found within the water, that allow current to flow.

The ultrapure water is not conductive.

Is acetaminophen conductive in water?

No, acetaminophen is not conductive in water. Acetaminophen is an organic compound that does not dissociate into ions in water, thus it does not conduct electricity.

When iron is mixed in water is it conductive?

yes

Would an ionic or covalent compound be more conductive in water when dissolved Explain?

An ionic compound dissociated in water is an electrolyte and is of course more conductive..

Is iodine conductive?

Iodine itself is not conductive. However, when iodine is dissolved in a suitable solvent such as water or an organic solvent, it can form an electrolyte solution that can conduct electricity.

Does water pass electric?

Containing electrolytes the coconut water is electricaly conductive.

What type of substance is conductive when dissolved in water?

These are ionic compounds dissociated in water.

What is the name of the solution that can conduct electricity?

how about water, or Mercury as used in thermometers. both conductive.

Is soda water conductive?

Yes, it is a mildly acidic electrolyte.

Does coconut water passes electricity?

Containing electrolytes the coconut water is electricaly conductive.

Is heavy water conductive?

Heavy water, also known as deuterium oxide, is slightly conductive due to the presence of deuterium atoms that have a partial positive charge. However, its conductivity is much lower than that of regular water due to the lower abundance of free ions. Heavy water is still considered a poor conductor compared to other electrolytes.

How does sodium chloride conduct electricity?

Sodium chloride is an electrolyte when: - is dissolved and dissociated in water - dissociated after melting
