geologist who influenced Darwin- Lyell
geologist who influenced Darwin- Hutton
scientist whose ideas about evolution and adaptation influenced Darwin- Lamarck
economist whose ideas about human population influenced Darwin-Malthus
Darwin's theory was accepted,at first Darwin himself did not publish his findings as he did not feel anybody else would agree with his findings but once he found that a fellow scientist had conducted the same research and was going to publish his findings Darwin then also decided that he would publish his findings also.
following the scientist method. it is the same no matter who is doing it.
Scientist use the same tools because, so their measurements will be the same.
Micro-evolution is not only a part of macro-evolution, it is the same mechanism as macro-evolution. Macro-evolution includes speciation, as a result of continuing micro-evolution.
Not biological evolution in the standard sense. No variation, genetic variability, and there is nothing for natural selection to select from.
Alfred Russel Wallace independently developed the theory of evolution by natural selection, which was very similar to Charles Darwin's ideas. Wallace and Darwin jointly published a scientific paper on the subject in 1858.
Alfred Russel Wallace.
Huxley, Weismann, Haeckel, Simpson, R.A.Fisher are some neo darwinists whose ideas were same as that of Mr.Darwin
Hey your doing the same assignment as me!

Only one other scientist at the time had the theory of evolution worked out and his name was Alfred Russell Wallace who wrote a book at the same time.
Because scientists have an inquiring mind and believe in the scientific method - anything is possible.
The example of peppered moths is not really different from Darwin's theory, it is the same concept. The only difference is that peppered moths live in the same habitat, where as Darwin's finches live in different habitats, which drove the evolution of their different beak shapes. The peppered moths have adapted to blend into their environment so they're not as easily caught.
Well, I had the same question. Charles Darwin lived and died at this time. But things happened like the industrial revolution, or the findings of the Galapagos Island. Or if your wondering about Charles Robert Darwin, He discovered Evolution. He was the only scientist to understand evolution. The theory of evolution was brought up therefore changing history, the present, and future.
