How does curriculum mapping work?

Curriculum mapping is a technique for reviewing the curriculum as it is being taught in a school system. Schools generally set up guidelines for what should be taught in the form of "curriculum templates". Then, for curriculum mapping to occur, teachers need to use a specialized program to actively update on what they have taught thus far in the school year. These updates can be viewed by other teachers and administrators and allow for adjustments to be made based on what and what isn't working.

Is there a website that offers home school curriculum?

There are several websites that offer a homeschool curriculum: homeschool.calvertschool.org/ www.time4learning.com/homeschool-curriculum.htm www.homeschool-curriculum.org/ www.homeschoolsupercenter.com/ www.homeschoolreviews.com/ I would suggest you start by reviewing the curriculum of the public school system in your state, then modifying it to fit you and your child's needs. You may also want to see if it is possible to acquire past annual statewide exams to get a feel for where your child should be academically. For high school students, use practice/sample SAT tests to gauge what material your child should be learning and have mastered by graduation.
